Our cheeses are vacuum-sealed, hard varieties that are safe outside of refrigeration in transit. Open the package and store your cheese in the refrigerator upon arrival for best quality.

Our cheese is made the same way since Eric’s Great Grandpa Fred came here from Switzerland in 1919 (though with a bit more fancy equipment). The milk comes in, cheese makers add the cultures, curd is formed, any seasonings are added, cheese is pressed into blocks and allowed to cure, usually for several months (or sometimes years for aged varieties). The cheese is then cut and wrapped, labeled, and shipped to your door.
None of our products are ever processed or artificial in any way. Just good, old fashioned Wisconsin cheese. Milk is sourced from local family farms who care. Seasonings are always natural and simple, never artificial.
We hate robotic, impersonal customer service, so we aim to be its antithesis. We are here for any question you have and we love nothing more than a happy, satisfied customer! We never outsource customer service or take shortcuts here.

United StatesCheese Brothers cheese is always great quality cheese, so, of course, the cheese in this box was delicious. We were excited about having new cheeses to try over the holidays. But this sampler was a disappointment. It was lacking in variety or excitement. Three bags of curds seemed like one too many. Also, the best and most interesting cheese curd was first. We would have saved the best for last. There were no young or soft cheeses. No fruity or nutty cheeses. No Swiss. No brie. The majority of the offerings were smoked. Perfect if you loved smoked, but again, showed a lack of variety or imagination. We didn’t hate this purchase, but we were non-plussed. I will not order it again.

The surprise element was awesome, a big hunk o’ what will it be today?! and throwing in three different bags of curd was definitely a delight.
